| Beschrijving voorzijde | The national coat of arms of Togo occupies the central field, depicting two rampant lions flanking a shield charged with the monogram 'RT' above a torch, with two crossed flags and a ribbon bearing the national motto above. The denomination '100 FRANCS CFA' is inscribed along the lower arc, while the legend 'REPUBLIQUE TOGOLAISE' curves along the upper periphery. The design is rendered in high relief against a polished field, with a beaded border encircling the entire composition. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Togo's 100 Francs CFA issues of this type are novelty bullion-adjacent pieces produced under licensing arrangements with the BCEAO framework but effectively commissioned by private minting houses — primarily the Bavarian State Mint and certain Swiss intermediaries — for the collector market rather than circulation. Benedict XVI resigned the papacy in February 2013, making this 2012 issue one of the last struck before the first papal abdication since Gregory XII in 1415.
