Palladium coinage from BEAC is essentially nonexistent as a category, which makes any entry here awkward — the Bank of Central African States has no meaningful history of precious metal coinage programs, and a 0.5g palladium piece at this fineness reads more like a novelty issue than a monetary instrument. Palladium itself only gained LBMA good-delivery status in 1987 and remains the least-traded of the four major platinum-group metals.
