| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Republic of the Congo occupies the centre of the field, depicting a shield supported by two African elephants and surmounted by a royal crown, with a scroll bearing the national motto at the base. The legend RÉPUBLIQUE DU CONGO arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 100 FRANCS CFA is inscribed in large characters along the lower periphery.
