| Obverse description | The obverse of this rectangular gold ingot-style piece features the national coat of arms of the Republic of Congo prominently centered in the field, depicting a rampant lion on a shield supported by two African elephants as flanking supporters, surmounted by a mural crown, with the motto scroll below bearing the legend UNITE TRAVAIL PROGRES.
