| Beschrijving voorzijde | The national coat of arms of the Republic of the Congo is centrally displayed in high relief, depicting a shield supported by two African elephants, surmounted by a lion rampant, and accompanied by a ribbon bearing the national motto. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CONGO arcs across the upper field, while the denomination 100 FRANCS CFA appears in the lower field. The design is executed on a polished rectangular flan with a plain raised border. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Issued under the Central African CFA franc zone, the Republic of the Congo has periodically used its minting authority to produce small-denomination gold pieces aimed squarely at the collector market rather than circulation — this being one of the lightest gold issues in the modern CFA series. The biblical commandment referenced in the title is the fifth of the Ten Commandments as numbered in Catholic and Lutheran tradition, fourth in Reformed reckoning.
