| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Senegal at centre, depicting a quartered shield bearing two lions passant guardant in the first and third quarters and a baobab tree in the second and fourth quarters, flanked by two palm fronds and surmounted by a five-pointed star.
