备注	The 9th series was Switzerland's first to be printed on Durasafe, a hybrid substrate developed by Landqart that bonds a polymer core between two layers of cotton paper. The result behaves like banknote paper to the touch but carries the security architecture of a polymer note — including a transparent window that cannot be replicated on pure cotton. It was a deliberate technical hedge, preserving tactile familiarity for the Swiss public while closing vulnerabilities that had appeared in earlier series. Manuela Pfrunder won the design commission in 2005, more than a decade before the first notes entered circulation — an unusually long development cycle even by Swiss standards.
