| 备注 |
The "reserve banknote" designation is not a marketing distinction — it reflects Swiss National Bank policy of printing and stockpiling notes well in advance of release, sometimes holding series in reserve for years before any entered circulation. The 7th series was designed in the 1970s and remained in use until the mid-1990s, an unusually long operational window even by Swiss standards.
Roger and Elisabeth Pfund's involvement marked one of the few times a husband-and-wife design team produced an entire Swiss banknote series. Pierre Schopfer's intaglio engraving work for Orell Füssli on this series is considered among the more technically demanding of the postwar decades.
