The central field carries the large denomination legend CENT FRANCS in bold letterpress, surmounted by the issuer title BANQUE DU SÉNÉGAL and the payment clause IL SERA PAYÉ EN ESPÈCES, A VUE, AU PORTEUR. Two oval text cartouches flank the centre, caduceus motifs occupy the corners, and a set of scales appears at the bottom centre; the right margin bears an ornate guilloche border panel. Signature lines for Le Directeur and Un des Censeurs appear in the lower field, with perforated cancellation visible.

Popis rubu	The reverse reproduces the same uniface design as the obverse, printed in mirror image as seen through the sheet, consistent with a uniface note where the impression is visible in reverse on the back.
