Obverse description	Central intaglio vignette of three African women in three-quarter profile, richly adorned with traditional beaded jewellery, earrings, and elaborate coiffures, engraved by Hourriez after a design by Sébastien Laurent. The denomination CENT FRANCS appears in large letterpress at left, with the bank title BANQUE DE L'AFRIQUE OCCIDENTALE across the top within a guilloche border. Two signature lines for Le Président and Le Directeur Général appear below the vignette, alongside the issue date, with serial number and series letter repeated in the upper and lower margins.

Reverse description	Central intaglio vignette of a standing African woman carrying a woven basket balanced on her head, set against a lush tropical floral and foliate underprint in soft polychrome tones, engraved by Marguerite Dreyfus (Rita). A large blank oval watermark reserve occupies the left side, while an ornate cartouche at upper right carries the anti-counterfeiting legal warning text. The bank title BANQUE DE L'AFRIQUE OCCIDENTALE is inscribed in a decorative panel at the foot of the note.
