Obverse description Two standing male youths flank the central vignette, each leaning on a staff, with a classical female head in relief at the bottom centre framed by ornamental scrollwork. The denomination CENT FRANCS and the payability clause PAYABLES A VUE, AU PORTEUR appear in bold intaglio lettering at centre, above three signature lines with Arabic equivalents below. A black vertical overprint reading TUNISIE appears along the left margin, and two circular warning medallions are placed symmetrically on either side of the central text.

Reverse description A standing male figure is positioned at the left border and a standing draped female figure at the right, with two mythological beast vignettes at the bottom centre flanking a central female profile portrait in medallion format, a crescent device above. The overall composition is rendered in fine intaglio engraving with guilloche patterned borders.
