Popis líce	Printed in black on cream paper, the obverse centres on a circular vignette of a female portrait bust at the top, flanked by two allegorical putti figures in high relief at the left and right margins. The denomination numeral '100' occupies all four corners, with elaborate guilloche rosettes and ornamental scrollwork filling the lower corner panels. The issuer's name 'DIE BANK IN BASEL' runs in bold letterpress across the upper central field, with the value 'HUNDERT FRANKEN IN SCHWEIZERWÄHRUNG' in large display type below, and three signature lines for Cassier, Präsident, and Director above the emission date at foot.
