Reverse description The reverse depicts a detailed front-facing portrait of a Eurasian otter (Lutra lutra) in high relief, set within a rectangular frame at the centre of the field. The animal's broad, whiskered muzzle and small rounded ears are rendered with naturalistic precision, with prominent, finely incised whiskers radiating from either side of the snout. The legend ...HA KEDVES appears in decorative folk-art lettering along the upper margin of the frame, while AZ ÉLETE... continues along the lower margin, together forming the phrase meaning 'If you value your life...' The binomial scientific name LUTRA LUTRA is inscribed vertically along the left side of the frame and VIDRA (the Hungarian word for otter) along the right side. The engraver's mark appears in a small cartouche at the bottom of the field below the frame.
