背面描述 The reverse features a bold, stylised design in which the field is divided into eight radiating segments by intersecting lines, creating a star-like pattern. A central raised circle contains the denomination '100 فلس' (100 Fils) in Arabic numerals and script. The surrounding segments bear the dual dating 1375 (Hijri) and 1955 (Gregorian) on either side, with the Arabic legend 'المملكة العراقية' (Kingdom of Iraq) occupying the upper and lower segments. A toothed border frames the entire design.

附加信息

By 1955, Iraq's Hashemite monarchy was entering its final years — Faisal II, who had assumed full royal powers in 1953 after a regency following his father's death in a 1939 plane crash, would be killed in the July 1958 coup that ended the kingdom entirely. Coins struck in this period circulated only briefly before the republic's new government overhauled the currency and withdrew Hashemite issues from circulation.

The .500 fineness reflects a compromise imposed by the Iraqi Currency Board, which had been managing the dinar's silver content downward since the late 1940s.
