Obverse description Central field features a realistic depiction of a fish in profile facing left, rendered in fine relief. Above the fish, the denomination appears in both Latin script ('100 fils') and Arabic numerals and script ('١٠٠ فيلس'). The entire central motif is enclosed within a circular border featuring a continuous Greek key (meander) decorative pattern. Along the lower arc of the inner circle, the legend 'SULTANATE OF PEMBA - 2013' is inscribed in Latin capitals.

Reverse description Central field displays an ornate eight-pointed star rosette in high relief, with radiating petals elaborately detailed with stippled and lined textures, enclosing a circular medallion at center bearing an Arabic tughra or calligraphic monogram. Below the star motif, two lines of Arabic script appear in the lower field: the place name 'پمباه' (Pemba) above the Arabic-Eastern date '٢٠١٣'. The flat field surrounding the design is polished, contrasting with the detailed central emblem.
