100 Euros Valentin Vodnik

Beschrijving voorzijde	Right-facing draped bust of Valentin Vodnik occupies the central and right portion of the field, rendered in a detailed engraved style. To the left of the effigy, the legend VALENTIN · VODNIK appears in two lines above the birth and death years 1758 and 1819. In the lower portion of the field, an excerpt from the final verse of Vodnik's poem Moj spomenik is inscribed in four lines: NE HČERE NE SINA / PO MENI NE BO, / DOVOLJ JE SPOMINA: / ME PESMI POJO, translating as 'No daughter, no son will follow me, memory is enough: songs sing of me.' The design was executed by engravers Miljenko Licul and Maja Licul to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the poet's birth.
