Flanking trees frame the composition on either side. Two large winged angels in prayer flank the central image symmetrically, their intricately rendered feathered wings and robes filling the field. The overall composition reflects the Gesamtkunstwerk aesthetic of the Viennese Secession movement, capturing the spiritual and artistic character of the church's interior decoration.
