| Obverse description | A finely engraved bust of a red deer stag in high relief, depicted in three-quarter view with head raised and mouth open in a rutting bellow, its impressive multi-tined antlers extending into the upper field. The stag is set against a naturalistically rendered background of reeds, grasses, and woodland elements, with ornate scrollwork filigree decorating the lower field in an elaborate Art Nouveau-inspired pattern. The legend REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH arcs along the upper periphery in incuse lettering, with the date 2013 positioned to the right.
