Reverse description The reverse depicts a lively historical scene of an Erbhuldigung — the hereditary homage ceremony — in which elaborately costumed courtiers and dignitaries, dressed in Baroque period attire with long powdered wigs and formal court dress, process in a formal procession before an architectural backdrop of a grand Habsburg palace facade. Musicians with drums are visible at left, while attendants bearing ceremonial objects accompany the principal figures across the central field. The inscription ERBHULDIGUNG appears along the lower field in incuse lettering. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border, executed with fine detail characteristic of Austrian Mint proof craftsmanship.
