Reverse description The reverse depicts the interior of the Round Room of the Mansion House in Dublin, the historic venue where the First Dáil Éireann convened on 21 January 1919. The architectural scene is rendered with fine engraving detail, showing the curved walls and gallery of the room. Scattered throughout the composition are individual dots symbolising the delegates present at that inaugural session of the Irish parliament. The legend '100 EURO' appears prominently, along with the Irish language inscription 'AN CHÉAD DÁIL' denoting the First Parliament.
