| Popis rubu | The reverse presents an idealized portrait bust of Prince Rastislav of Great Moravia juxtaposed with a Carolingian-period cross recovered during archaeological excavations at Mikulčice, evoking the historical and spiritual context of his reign. The portrait is rendered in a stylized artistic manner characteristic of contemporary Slovak commemorative coinage. A double band of beading encircles most of the periphery. The years of Rastislav's reign, '846–870', appear as a legend along the lower edge, flanking the principal inscription identifying the subject. The overall composition balances historical portraiture with symbolic ecclesiastical imagery from the Great Moravian era. |
