The circular legend REPUBLICA PORTUGUESA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 100 ESCUDOS is inscribed along the lower periphery. The notation 'Pd 1 oz' appears in the lower field, confirming the one troy ounce palladium content. The entire design is enclosed within a rope border, giving the coin a refined, medallic appearance. |
