The shield displays the composite heraldic elements associated with Transylvania and the Apafi dynasty, supported by ornate mantling. The arms are set within an oval beaded border and framed by a sweeping wreath of olive branches. A continuous two-part Latin legend surrounds the composition, giving the prince's titles and a devout religious motto, with the date 1677 and the mintmaster's initials A·F incorporated into the reverse inscription. |
