| Obverse description | The National Coat of Arms of Armenia occupies the central field, depicting a heraldic shield quartered with national symbols including Mount Ararat, supported by an eagle dexter and a lion sinister, with a sword and a chain in the supporters' paws and a ribbon below. The Armenian legend ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ (Republic of Armenia) curves along the upper periphery in Armenian script.
