| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia occupies the central field, depicting a heraldic eagle and lion flanking a quartered shield, with the date 2006 inscribed above in the upper field. The denomination 100 appears prominently below the arms, flanked by the word DRAM in Latin script to the left and ԴՐԱՄ in Armenian script to the right. The Armenian legend ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ (Republic of Armenia) curves along the upper periphery in Armenian script, while the Latin legend REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA arcs along the lower periphery. The design is rendered in high relief against a brilliant proof field. |
