Descrizione del dritto	The Armenian National Coat of Arms occupies the central field, featuring the traditional heraldic shield supported by an eagle and a lion, with a sword, chain, and sheaf of wheat at the base. The date '2007' appears in the upper field above the arms. The Armenian legend 'ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ' (Republic of Armenia) arcs along the upper border, while the bilingual denomination '100 DRAM / ԴՐԱՄ' is inscribed in the lower field, flanked by the word 'DRAM' in Latin script and 'ԴՐԱՄ' in Armenian script. Descrizione del rovescio	A Northern Shoveler (Anas clypeata) is depicted in full profile, standing and facing left amid stylized aquatic vegetation and water reflections rendered in fine detail. The bird's distinctive broad spatulate bill and plumage are accurately rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished proof field. The scientific name 'Anas clypeata Linnaeus' arcs along the upper border in Latin script. The Armenian name 'ԼԱՅՆԱՔԻԹ ԲԱԴ' (Northern Shoveler) is inscribed along the lower border in Armenian script.

Informazioni aggiuntive	Armenia's wildlife coin program, launched in the early 2000s, was partly a revenue exercise — commemorative silver issues sold to collectors abroad generated hard currency at a meaningful premium over face value. The Northern Shoveler was one of several migratory species chosen specifically because the bird passes through the Ararat Valley wetlands seasonally, giving Armenia a legitimate ornithological claim to the subject. KM#136 is a low-mintage issue; most examples entered private collections immediately and saw no circulation.
