Additional information

Issued to mark the tenth anniversary of the Central Bank of Armenia, which was established in 1993 following the country's introduction of the dram as its national currency — replacing the Soviet ruble amid the economic chaos of early independence. Armenia had no minting infrastructure of its own at the time, and early commemorative issues were produced abroad before domestic arrangements matured.
