100 Drachmai - Constantine II Pattern strike

Beschrijving voorzijde	Bare-headed effigy of King Constantine II facing left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair. The circular legend ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ runs along the upper periphery, while the date 1968, flanked by two raised dots, appears in the lower exergual area. The word ESSAI is incused in small letters below the truncation of the bust, confirming the pattern (essai) status of this strike. The portrait is executed in a clean, modern neoclassical style with a smooth, matte field.
