备注

One of the few postwar Greek notes designed and engraved entirely in-house, this 100 Drachmai was produced at the state printing works in Holargos — the facility that Greece had built in part to reduce its long dependence on foreign security printers such as Bradbury Wilkinson and the American Bank Note Company. The division of labor between Velissaridis on the obverse and Stinis on the reverse is unusual and suggests the two sides were developed on something close to parallel tracks rather than as a unified commission.

The issue dates span 1966 and 1967, meaning some examples were signed and released after the April 1967 military coup that installed the junta of Georgios Papadopoulos.
