| 备注 |
The 1935 series was issued under the restored monarchy of George II, whose return from exile that November followed a rigged plebiscite — the timing of this note's circulation places it squarely in one of the more politically volatile episodes of interwar Greek history. Tsouderos, whose signature appears here, would later serve as Prime Minister of the Greek government-in-exile during the Axis occupation.
Banque de France printed this series under contract, a relationship Greece maintained through much of the interwar period rather than developing independent printing infrastructure. Sébastien Laurent's design credit is unusually specific for the era.
