| 备注 |
Issued to mark the 65th anniversary of the State Bank of Vietnam's founding in 1951, this commemorative 100 Dong note was never intended for general circulation — the denomination itself makes that clear, worth a fraction of a U.S. cent at 2016 exchange rates. The National Banknote Printing Plant in Hanoi has produced commemorative issues like this periodically since the 1990s, and they typically move directly from press to collectors without passing through any banking channel.
The security feature set is minimal for a modern note — watermark only, no metallic thread — consistent with a piece designed for display rather than daily handling.
