| Beschrijving keerzijde | Panoramic high-relief depiction of the full facade of the Taj Mahal mausoleum as viewed from the front, with the central bulbous dome flanked by four subsidiary domed chattris and the characteristic minarets visible at each corner. The central arched niche of the main facade contains an inset of genuine lapis lazuli, providing a striking blue contrast against the antique silver finish. Intricate arabesque and geometric ornamentation is rendered across the entire surface in fine sculptural detail, faithfully reproducing the Mughal architectural decoration of the monument. The inscription TAJ MAHAL appears in the lower exergue. |
