| 正面描述 | Central vignette of Louis Armstrong (1901–1971), trumpeter and vocalist, set against a stylized skyline of New Orleans with a decorative trumpet and musical notes including a G clef in the underprint. The state motto "UNION, JUSTICE, CONFIDENCE" appears alongside the year of Louisiana's admission to the Union, 1812, with an eagle hologram as the principal security ornament. The note bears the overprint THIS NOTE IS NOT LEGAL TENDER, confirming its commemorative fantasy status. |

| 背面描述 | Central vignette of the United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C., rendered in a style recalling classic intaglio engraving traditions of American currency. Seals of the commemorative series appear alongside the denomination numeral and series title, with the non-legal-tender overprint repeated to distinguish the note from official currency. |

| 备注 |
This is a Federal Reserve Note, issued through the Federal Reserve Bank of New Orleans — one of the original twelve district banks established under the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. The New Orleans district designation (F6) appears on all notes attributed to this branch, though production itself runs through the Bureau of Engraving and Printing facilities in Washington, D.C. and Fort Worth, Texas.
The 2022 series date reflects the signature combination in use, not a new design cycle. The $100 denomination has carried the same basic design since the 2013 redesign, which introduced the 3-D security ribbon — a woven strip rather than a printed feature — alongside the color-shifting bell-in-inkwell element.
