| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse depicts a highly detailed, finely sculpted Basilisk — the legendary king of serpents — rendered in bold relief at the centre of the field. The creature is portrayed with the traditional hybrid form: a rooster's crested head with an open beak, large bat-like wings spread dramatically to either side, scaled reptilian body supported on taloned legs, and a long serpentine coiled tail. The arched legend MYTHICAL CREATURES BASILISK curves along the upper periphery against a deeply mirrored proof background. The Perth Mint's P mintmark appears to the right, and the designer's initials NM are visible in the lower left field. |
