| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field features the colorful ASEAN 2013 Brunei Chairmanship logo, depicting ten stylized human figures arranged in a circular pinwheel formation in the national colors of ASEAN member states, encircling the ASEAN emblem — a blue disc bearing a golden sheaf of ten rice stalks — with the motto 'Our People. Our Future Together' inscribed around it. Above the central device, an Arabic/Jawi legend arcs across the upper field. To the left and right of the central motif, small ASEAN sheaf emblems flank the design. Below the central device the denomination '$100' is inscribed, with 'ASEAN 2013 BRUNEI DARUSSALAM' along the lower arc. The word 'ASEAN' appears at the top edge and '2013' at the bottom edge of the octagonal flan, all set against a satin gold ground. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Brunei assumed the ASEAN chairmanship in 2013, the first time the sultanate had held the rotating presidency since 2000. The theme Brunei adopted — "Our People, Our Future Together" — reflected ongoing negotiations around the ASEAN Economic Community, which was formally established two years later. These gold commemoratives were issued in strictly limited quantities, consistent with Brunei's practice of producing collector coinage almost exclusively for diplomatic gifting and high-end numismatic markets rather than general circulation.
