| Obverse description | The coin is struck in the three-dimensional form of the Starship U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 as depicted in the original Star Trek television series, with the obverse presented on the circular primary hull (saucer section). The saucer field bears a effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, rendered in high relief against a finely textured background, surrounded by the legend 'ELIZABETH II D•G•REGINA' along the upper arc.
