Obverse description Right-facing draped bust effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara, rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The portrait, executed in the Arnold Machin style adapted for Canadian coinage, displays finely detailed hair and drapery at the shoulder. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left periphery, while D·G·REGINA curves along the right, both in upright Latin capitals. The coin's proof finish creates a strong cameo contrast between the frosted effigy and the polished field.
