Opmerkingen

The Bermuda Monetary Authority's shift to a hybrid substrate for this issue was a deliberate response to the durability problems that plagued earlier cotton-paper series in Bermuda's humid, marine climate — notes in active circulation were showing premature wear at a rate that justified the retooling costs. De La Rue had been supplying Bermuda's notes since the earliest BMA issues, and the 2009 series maintained that relationship while upgrading the base material without abandoning the established design family.

Pick 62 is the highest denomination in the series. High-value notes in small island economies tend to see limited street circulation, moving primarily through banking channels, which affects survivorship in used grades.
