| Obverse description | Effigy of Queen Elizabeth II in right-facing profile, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, engraved by Ian Rank-Broadley after his fourth definitive portrait. The legend 'ELIZABETH II' arcs along the upper left field and 'NIUE ISLAND' along the upper right, separated by the diademed bust.
