Beschrijving voorzijde Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, shown as a diademed and draped bust. The legend ELIZABETH II - TOKELAU arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 2021 divided across the lower central field flanking the portrait. The denomination 100 DOLLARS appears in the lower legend, and the engraver's initials IRB are inscribed below the bust truncation. Decorative circular dot ornaments flank the date in the mid-field, while fine radiating line engraving patterns adorn the background field.

Aanvullende informatie

Tokelau has no domestic mint, no currency of its own in daily use, and a total land area of roughly 12 square kilometers spread across three atolls. Its numismatic program exists entirely as a licensing arrangement administered through New Zealand, with coins struck abroad — typically at the New Zealand Mint — and issued as legal tender in a territory where almost no one spends them.

The "Equilibrium" branding is part of a recurring investment bullion series, one of several annual one-ounce gold issues Tokelau has released since the early 2010s to compete in the sovereign-backed bullion market.
