The Bond Family Crest coin is part of Perth Mint's licensed series produced in collaboration with the Ian Fleming estate, issued to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the publication of Casino Royale in 1953. Fleming's fictional spy carried a family motto — The World is Not Enough — drawn from a real heraldic tradition he borrowed from the actual Bond family of Scotland, a detail Fleming researchers have noted for decades.
