Aanvullende informatie

Tokelau — three Pacific atolls with a combined land area of roughly 12 square kilometers and no airstrip — issues coinage through a formal arrangement with New Zealand, which administers the territory. The 2022 Accession issue marks seventy years of Elizabeth II's reign, making it one of the final numismatic commemoratives produced in her honor before her death in September of that year. Coins dated 2022 bearing her effigy were still being struck by mints worldwide when she died at Balmoral on September 8.
