The Queen is portrayed in right-facing profile, wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl necklace with drop earring, rendered with exceptional sculptural detail. The animal faces left, conveying dynamism and strength in the tradition of the Perth Mint's Lunar Series III coinage. To the upper left of the field, the Chinese character '虎' (Tiger) is inscribed above the English legend 'TIGER' and the date '2022'. The Perth Mint 'P' mintmark appears to the left, and the engraver's initials 'MR' are visible at the base of the design near the rock formation. |
