Aanvullende informatie

Australia's shift to a sixth portrait of Elizabeth II — the Sheryl Arnold effigy approved in 2019 — was completed just as the Queen's reign was ending, leaving a narrow window in which coins bearing this portrait circulated under her reign before her death in September 2022. This 2023 issue therefore appears posthumously, struck by the Perth Mint under the authority of a monarch who had already died before the calendar year of its production.

The Perth Mint's four-nines gold standard has been maintained consistently since the Kangaroo bullion series launched in 1987.
