Aanvullende informatie

Australia's Lunar Series coins have been produced by the Perth Mint for decades, but this issue comes from the Royal Australian Mint in Canberra — a less frequent participant in the bullion gold market. The Year of the Rat opens the twelve-year Lunar cycle, making 2020 the first entry in a new series rotation for RAM's program.

The fourth portrait of Elizabeth II, by Ian Rank-Broadley, was introduced on Australian coinage in 1999 and remained current until her death in 2022.
