| 裏面の説明 | The reverse presents a finely detailed depiction of an Australian Bird of Paradise perched upon a textured branch, its wings dramatically spread wide in full display, rendered in high relief against a satin-finished field. The bird's plumage is rendered with exceptional sculptural precision, capturing the fan-like arrangement of primary and secondary feathers with alternating polished and matte surfaces. The upper arc of the reverse legend reads AUSTRALIAN BIRD OF PARADISE within a recessed border band, while the lower arc carries the inscription 1oz 9999 GOLD. The Perth Mint's P mintmark appears to the right of the central design within the inner field. |

The Bird of Paradise series, produced by the Perth Mint for Papua New Guinea, draws on a long-standing arrangement through which Australia's federal government mint strikes legal tender coinage for the Pacific nation. Papua New Guinea has no mint of its own. The fourth portrait of Elizabeth II, by Ian Rank-Broadley, was already being phased out in favor of Jody Clark's effigy on most Australian issues by 2018, making its continued use on this series a product of contractual and catalog continuity rather than any deliberate design policy.
