| 裏面の説明 | The reverse features a finely detailed, high-relief depiction of a mother koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) clinging to a eucalyptus branch with a joey on her back, both animals rendered naturalistically facing toward the viewer. The central motif is set within a recessed circular field, framed by a raised border separating it from the surrounding legend area. The arc legend THE AUSTRALIAN KOALA runs along the upper left and 1OZ .9995 PLATINUM along the upper right of the border band. The date 1990 is inscribed prominently in large numerals along the lower arc, with the engraver's initials MT incuse in the lower field just above the date. The design was engraved by Michael T. Tracey. |
