| 裏面の説明 | Three overlapping sugar maple leaves (Acer saccharum) dominate the reverse field in a bold, naturalistic design with finely engraved veining and lobed contours rendered in gleaming high relief against a matte background. The largest leaf is centrally positioned with two smaller leaves partially visible behind it, evoking a sense of depth and movement. The inscription CANADA arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 2025 placed vertically along the right side. The engraver's initials MG appear to the right of the central leaf grouping. The overall composition is consistent with the Royal Canadian Mint's celebrated Maple Leaf artistic tradition. |

The Maple Leaf series has been the Royal Canadian Mint's flagship bullion program since 1979, when Canada became the first country to challenge the Krugerrand's near-total dominance of the gold bullion market. The .9999 fineness standard — introduced in 1982, ahead of most competitors — remains one of the series' defining commercial arguments.
Charles III's effigy appears here for only the second year of his reign, following the formal portrait transition from Elizabeth II that took effect across RCM issues in 2024.
