100 Dollars - Charles III 1st Portrait - Koala - Gold

The Royal Australian Mint's Koala bullion series has run in various forms since 1980, originally under the Perth Mint before the RAM asserted its own gold bullion program. The .9999 fineness is notable — four nines purity became the RAM's deliberate answer to competitors in the international bullion market, marginally exceeding the traditional .999 standard used across most sovereign gold coinage for decades.

This is among the earliest RAM issues to bear the first portrait of Charles III, sculpted by Martin Jennings and formally approved for Australian coinage in 2023.
