| Beschrijving voorzijde | Predominantly red note with a large guilloche numeral '100' at upper left and a central vignette of the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong rendered in intaglio line work, overlaid with a bauhinia flower motif. A vertical strip of colour-shifting optically variable ink elements runs through the centre, alongside a circular holographic OVD patch at upper right bearing the numeral '100'. The issuing bank's name and title appear in both Chinese characters and English across the top, with the promise-to-pay clause, denomination in Chinese and English, and facsimile signature of the Chief Executive at left. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse carries a richly coloured vignette of a Cantonese opera performer in full traditional costume and elaborate headdress, set against a warm multicolour guilloche underprint evoking the cultural heritage of Hong Kong. The composition celebrates classical Cantonese opera as a symbol of intangible cultural tradition shared between Hong Kong and mainland China. The issuing bank's name in Chinese and English, together with the denomination numeral '100', appears at upper centre and lower left. |

The Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited is one of three commercial note-issuing banks in the territory — an arrangement unique among major financial centers, where note issuance is typically a central bank function. BOCHK's right to issue stems from the colonial-era licensing framework that Hong Kong retained after 1997, and all issued notes must be fully backed by US dollar reserves held with the Exchange Fund, a requirement that has kept the currency board mechanism intact regardless of political changes on the mainland.
The 2018 series marked a design refresh after roughly a decade on the previous format. P#350 is a paper issue, at a time when polymer was becoming increasingly common regionally.
